Jake Carter came from Stanthorpe on the QLD/NSW border, and Jack Scoles from Lightning Ridge in northwest NSW. Jake & Jack met at boarding school in Armidale back in 2003. They decided to create Nomad Built in 2020.

Jake moved to Brisbane to study Construction / Project Management and then work with a large commercial builder for 12 years, where he honed his skills in managing large construction projects including high rise builds, office parks, infrastructure projects, and multi million dollar apartment complexes.
Jack Scoles
Jack moved to Sydney where he completed his trade in Carpentry and worked for a premium builder working in Sydney's most prestige suburbs, building $5M+ houses – the perfect way to utilise his natural eye for detail and craftsmanship.
